Position: Defensive Line Years coaching: 9 Previous school: Crisp County High School high school/ sports played/ letterman: Starrs Mill high School- Wrestling, Football, Baseball- 2 year letterman in wrestling & 4 year letterman in Football and Baseball College/ Sports played/Letterman: Georgia Southwestern State University (2006-2011)- Baseball, Valdosta State University (2018) I am a follower of christ, father, educator, & coach ,who looks to wake up every morning knowing that I can impact the lives of others in a positive way. I use 111y motto of “always Winning” to remind myself and others of how thankful we should be to wake up every morning. What is your background? I knew at an early age that Sports were going to be my life. I played football, basketball, baseball, and even wres tled while in High School. However as I got older Baseball and Football became the focus of how I wanted to get to the next level. I was fortunate enough to earn a scholarship to GSW and continue my baseball career in College. Upon graduating and hanging up my cleats for good I decided to enter the Education and Coaching ,world in order to promote and help future students and student athletes succeed not only in athletics but in life. Since then I have not looked back and continue to educate/coach students everyday while raising a family and enjoying everyday. I began my Career at Crisp County high School (2013-2021) where I coached Baseball (OF), Football (LB & DL), and & Wrestling during my tenure. South is the 2nd place that I am happy to call home where I will continue coaching Football (DL) and Baseball (1l1JF). #AlwaysWinning Wife/Kids? I am happily married to Alisa Marie Houston(June 2013). We share two beautiful girls; Brynlee Marie Houston (6) and Adalee Sloane Houston (3). Hobbies? When I am not spending time with my family or on the field I like to play golf, hunt, fish, travel, and ride my motorcycle.
