D IVERSITY S EMINAR
Gianetta Jones is the Vice President and Chief People Officer at Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc. She began her career with Coca-Cola in April 2007 as the Human Resources Director for Coca-Cola UNITED’s East Region. In 2015, Gianetta was promoted to Corporate Human Resources Director, where she has served until accepting her current position in 2018 as Vice President
Prior to joining Coca-Cola UNITED, Gianetta began her career in the healthcare industry and held various benefit management roles. Subsequently, she was employed at both Mason Corporation as Human Resources Director and later Hyundai of Alabama, serving as Manager of Payroll, Benefits, Compensation & Relocation. A native of Birmingham, AL, Gianetta graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business with a Finance concentration from Auburn University. She was appointed the Executive Sponsor for the Diversity and Inclusion Council, supporting the Diversity and Inclusion Council Executive Team. She is a Board Member of the Birmingham Education Foundation, a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and an alumnus of Project Corporate Leadership in Birmingham. She has also been appointed to serve on the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Board (WIOA), Region 5, by Governor Kay Ivey. Her community outreach involved serving on the Jefferson-Shelby Board for the Red Cross, the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society, and volunteering with United Cerebral Palsy.

In her current role, Gianetta oversees the following departments within UNITED: Benefits, Compensation and Payroll, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Compliance, and Learning & Organizational Development. In August of 2020, Gianetta was appointed as the Executive Sponsor to The Coca-Cola UNITED Diversity and Inclusion Council. She supports the Coca-Cola UNITED Diversity and Inclusion Council Executive Team by working to ensure UNITED provides an inclusive culture for all associates. The team collaborates with business partners across UNITED’s territory to ensure diversity and inclusion processes and practices. Ed Fienga is the Chief Operating Officer at Deuce Drone, a last-mile drone delivery company based in Mobile, Alabama. Before joining Deuce Drone, he served in the United States Air Force for 30 years, retired as a Brigadier General, and then joined Sehlke Consulting, a service disabled, veteran owned small business (SDVOSB). At Sehlke, he specialized in financial management services for the federal government and rose to the ranks of Partner and Director, Air Force Programs. During his distinguished Air Force career, amongst many other duties, Mr. Fienga served as the Air Force Programmer where he was responsible for formulating the Air Force’s 5-year, $650B budget. Mr. Fienga earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from the Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, and received his master’s in human resource management and leadership from Webster University. He has also completed Georgetown University’s Government Affairs program, which included a 12-month fellowship on the personal staff of a US Senator, graduated from the Belgian

Defense College (taught in French) and holds an active Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. In Mr. Fienga’s seminar, he will provide an overview of the legislation, challenges and current opportunities for drone delivery of groceries. Additionally, he will provide an update on Deuce Drone’s progress toward conducting FAA-sanctioned Operations
Over People (OOP) and delivering groceries by drone in the Mobile, Alabama and Baldwin County region and identify how grocers can assist drone delivery companies in “operationalizing” drone delivery of groceries.
