I'm immediately reminded of why I'm here: the musicians, the community, the people, the personalities. What advice would you give your twenty-year-old self? I've got lots of advice for my twenty-year-old self but doubt my twenty-year-old self would have paid any attention! What would people be surprised to know about you? The spectrum of music that inspires me. When I tell people one of my favorite bands is The Clash, I often get a strange look. How has the pandemic impacted you on a personal level? Preservation Hall closed its doors the second week of March and we haven't opened since. When we locked the doors, I knew the impact this would have on the community and felt an incredible sadness. I knew we had a responsibility to use our platform to advocate for the musicians. With the support of our fans, we've been able to support them with regular financial grants.
