W e selected our 2020 A-List last February and began photography in early March. Little did we know that our worlds would turn upside down. We postponed the issue to focus on our families as we absorbed the shock of the growing crisis. Now here we are months later, settled into the rhythm of working from home, but it's not like we can just pick up where we left. Nothing is the same. I proceeded with caution when getting back in touch with our A-List. I knew that many of them had not yet reopened their businesses and that some were grieving lost loved ones. Like all of us, this group of influential leaders is weathering the seismic changes that come with something of such crushing magnitude. With even greater passion and determination, they've shared their vision for our next normal with hopes of a better tomorrow. The 25 New Orleanians spotlighted here are nothing short of inspiring.
