Describe what you love about what you do. I love making photographs that I thought were for me and discovering they are also a gift for other people. Why in New Orleans? New Orleans because in the perfect randomness of life, I was born here. It's special, have you seen this place? Have you seen another place like it on a visual, cultural, geographic, or other level? I know I am a bit biased. What about New Orleans inspires you? New Orleans is like a book that you can read over and over and when you get really tired of it and you think "I never want to read that book again," it hits you with something you didn't comprehend the first 40 times.

What advice would you give your twenty-year-old self? It's going to be OK. You just need to sleep. Describe your charitable work or favorite causes. I love supporting the New Orleans Photo Alliance. They are a small organization that continues to find new ways to create community around photography.
