Why in New Orleans? One of my ancestors, a Villeré, was a founding father of the city. Frenchmen Street is actually named after this group of men. Another ancestor, Jacques Philippe Villeré, was the first native born governor of the state. I love my heritage here and I'm proud of it. What about New Orleans inspires you? Its soul. Bridge House/Grace House because addiction and behavioral health differences need to be de-stigmatized. Planned Parenthood because women should have full discretion over their bodies.
