Louisiana is home. I was born and raised in Shreveport, but New Orleans is where my heart and soul feel most nurtured. I just lived a year in Austin during the pandemic and I now know what it means to miss New Orleans. What advice would you give your twenty-year-old self? You were right at 20: you can't drink alcohol. Life's more fun without it, believe it or not. Find a good hair stylist and a good therapist, but they can't be the same person.
