Favorite museum The National WWII Museum is incredibly well done and very moving A book you are reading now My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Otessa Moshfegh Favorite movie of all time The original Suspiria (1977) or Night of the Living Dead (1968) First thing you do when you wake up Check my phone, unfortunately. I'm working on that Favorite place to go with your family Taking my parents to their first Jazz Fest in 2019 is a very happy memory Favorite destination Toronto (my hometown), London (where I lived before moving here) or Saint Lucia, to see friends. Hong Kong (where my mother is from) and Tokyo (where I spent a year living) are also very high on the list.

Describe what you love about what you do. The human connection I make with the people I dress. My job is about making people feel confident. Being a stylist is a little like being a personal cheerleader: hyping people up, getting them feeling comfortable, and camera-ready. Dressing someone can feel quite intimate, so it's all about gaining trust and creating a connection. Why in New Orleans? Because I wasn't sure it could be done. When I first moved here from London, I was fully prepared to pivot professions, but I've chipped away at making it work for me. I've found New Orleans to be a very welcoming, accommodating place. What about New Orleans inspires you? Everything. The people, the architecture, the humidity, and the scenery. There is nowhere like it. Describe what you see as our future. I'd like to see a further concentration on cultural preservation. This city is too special to end up like everywhere else. Describe your charitable work or favorite causes. I've been a volunteer with UNITY of Greater New Orleans since moving to the city. They're a nonprofit coordinating community partnerships to end homelessness.
