Why New Orleans? The essence of New Orleans is in its diversity. This is truly where all shades of colors and cultures are embraced, adopted, and evolved. Biggest inspiration in your work? My Father, who was a chef, taught me to express myself through food. Though he's not here today, I still think of his instruction and apply it when I need a little inspiration. Favorite part about what you do? It's extremely gratifying to see others find comfort in the experience and feel the love I am interpreting through my food. What is inspiring you right now? That fact that more of us are developing food preparation techniques to come up with wonderful new creations. It pushes me to step outside of traditional cooking and to continue to evolve. Favorite thing about living in New Orleans? The love for its culture and the warmth of the people but most of all I admire resilience that we as a community possess, it's truly something of a phenomenon. FAVORITE QUOTE?
