But the bridal consultant asked me to try on something that had just arrived. It was the first dress I tried on and once she placed the veil on, I knew it was the one." She completed her look with custom-designed accessories from venerable jeweler Apranje in Bengaluru, India. Jake went with debonaire — a classic black tuxedo and a dashing white dinner jacket for the reception. And what a reception it was! Guests dined on Louisiana favorites — alligator fritters, roast beef and debris gravy, and late night Lucky Dogs. "After just the right amount of champagne, we hopped onstage with MoJEAUX and sang Callin' Baton Rouge to our guests." And just like that, Anju and Jake were off to their new hometown of Milwaukee with wedding memories to last a lifetime.
