T wo birthdays will always stand out to Dejah Cordier (née Causey). On her 21st, she met her future husband, Ronald Cordier, and four years later on her 25th, he proposed. After welcoming their daughter Kinlee into the world and building a home together, the couple was excited to embark on their next chapter. The pair decided on Maison Lafitte, a historic and spacious venue, in Mandeville as the setting for the big day. "We wanted to keep traditional New Orleans culture evident during our union, but we also desired a small, quaint wedding. Mandeville was the perfect happy medium." Equipped with visions of a bohemian wedding with pops of glam throughout, the bride-to-be began the busy but enjoyable planning process. One of the easiest decisions was the Blue by Enzoani "Milan" gown Dejah fell in love with at Linen Jolie Bridal in Metairie. "As a mom and a nurse, my day-to-day wardrobe consists of scrubs and leggings. It felt amazing to get all dolled up and see Ronald's reaction."
