L ike most of us, I have an ongoing bucket list filled with far-flung places and big adventures. In the meantime, I'm filling my bucket right here in New Orleans with things I have never done or just don't do quite enough. When you live in a city that attracts visitors from around the world, it makes perfect sense. This is a list I can finish before the year's end, so lookout New Orleans, I'm coming for you. • Get a behind the scenes look of everyone's favorite holiday at Mardi Gras World

• Take a ghost tour with a group of friends

• Spend some time on the water on a riverboat cruise

• Enjoy a music-filled evening at Preservation Hall

• Experience the opera with New Orleans Opera

• Visit the New Orleans Museum of Art and take a stroll through their Sculpture Garden

• Attend a Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra concert

• Support the New Orleans Ballet Association at their 50th Anniversary Evening of Stars (January 25, 2020)
