A s the year winds down, the holiday season is just ramping up. You know the drill: parties on parties, gifts galore, and oh so many sweets! Instead of falling back on your typical seasonal beverages (we're looking at you eggnog), we recommend switching things up with a handcrafted cocktail created by some of the city's very best in the business. Impress your company with a new take on Milk Punch and forget about your extended family with the help of a Sazerac infused with duck fat. 'Tis the season, right?

3/4 OZ. BUFFALO TRACE BOURBON 1/2 OZ. AMARO NONINO 1/2 OZ. APEROL 3/4 OZ. FRESH LEMON JUICE 1/2 OZ. BURNT HONEY SPICED SYRUP GARNISH: 1 SPRIG OF FLAMED ROSEMARY, 1 LARGE ORANGE PEEL
Combine all ingredients except the rosemary in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 15- 20 seconds and double strain into an ice filled rocks glass. With a butane torch, flame a sprig of rosemary until a slight char appears, and place on top of the cocktail along with a swath of orange peel.
