The dramatic dining room brings the wow factor with exquisite hand painted custom wallcovering from Paul Montgomery Studios, an 18th century French mirror from Sotheby's, and a stunning installation of blue and white porcelain. I love how Ware continues the Yeabridge Green throughout the space and the pop of clear blue at the windows and custom ceiling color is luscious and unexpected. Upstairs in the master bedroom and adjoining sunroom, Ware's use of color is as invigorating and optimistic as it gets. "This is where we recharge; it can be incredibly light-filled and once the curtains are closed, it is as dark as a cave," he explains. Colefax and Fowler wallpaper in warm russet stripes, a series of 18th century lithographs, and a painting by William McLure are all handsome decorative elements. And dapper tophats and bowlers? 'Tis the season and I hope they make an appearance at a swell party or two.
