lengths." Marble mantels, chandeliers, bannisters, and mirrors are all draped with fabulous fresh garland and sumptuous swags. Simple white lights and red ribbonry, in various widths and textures, tie all of the rooms together. It's super elegant with a fresh Winter vibe and the forest fragrance is divine. This unfussy, natural look allows the warm polished floors, beautiful millwork, and interior architecture to really stand out. I also love the old fashioned, homemade look of the two fresh trees. "They're not fancy at all — mostly my children's preschool artwork. Reading Santa wish lists and seeing toothless smiling elves on my tree every year has to be my favorite part of decorating." I cracked up as she told me that her kids move their pictures to the back of the tree each morning and later she moves them right back to the front. She describes her holiday style as a little bit of sparkle and a touch of Clark Griswold, and I totally get it. Every room in her house reflects her personality. In the entranceway, she mixes traditional blue and white porcelain with a contemporary lucite bench covered in hot pink faux croc leather. The green metal sleigh is "repurposed from a Martin Wine gift basket" and the stockings were purchased in Mykonos. Her bar features a painting — The
