Simple white lights and red ribbonry, in various widths and textures, tie all of the rooms together. It's super elegant with a fresh Winter vibe and the forest fragrance is divine. This unfussy, natural look allows the warm polished floors, beautiful millwork, and interior architecture to really stand out. I also love the old fashioned, homemade look of the two fresh trees. "They're not fancy at all — mostly my children's preschool artwork. Reading Santa wish lists and seeing toothless smiling elves on my tree every year has to be my favorite part of decorating."
