Adore Holiday 2021

Unicorn by Ashley Longshore — that she loves. "Audrey's profile looks so much like my mother and she's a unicorn." There are classic antiques found at New Orleans Auction Galleries, new furnishings from Textures, and festive tabletop from Hazelnut and Hilltop Shoppe. For entertaining, Hilary's holiday rules are: "Nothing too formal, always have a pot of something hot on the stove, a fridge full of goodies from St. James to make a cheese board, turn the Saints game on, wear red lipstick, and pour heavy." Girl, I'll be right over. And as she explains, "The pandemic has forced us to trade big holiday functions for more intimate gatherings, but we still dress up. Small groups gathered around our dining table and our favorite Uptown restaurants feel all the more special after the past year and a half. And I feel like I should dress accordingly." This year will be especially meaningful for the Landrys. "My oldest child will return home from her first semester away at college. Everything will sparkle a little brighter than usual. That's the kind of energy I'm bringing into the new year."
