inspired by New Orleans, a melting pot of diversity and culture. "I will never forget our first meeting," says Casi. "The entire PB team was practically moved to tears when we presented our first imagery evoking Black Joy. It gives me chills to think about it." From there, the mother- daughter duo was selected, along with BADG founder Malene Barnett and Los Angeles designer Lisa Turner, to create the line of lifestyle accessories that launched this Spring nationwide. I love everything about this campaign. The products, developed around themes such as "Harmony as a connected community," "Triumph over tribulations," and "Celebration of love and family," highlight the rich and vibrant beauty of Black culture. Table linens made by artisans in Eswatini, South Africa, colorful bedding emblazoned with empowering words, and handblown hurricanes and vases deliver a sophisticated and joyful refresh that's perfect in any interior setting. My favorite piece, soon to be sitting on my glass coffee table, is the Family Bond Links. Crafted from black and bleached wood, this symbol of unity and strength sends a universal visual message that we can all embrace.

T he handpainted pattern on the dinnerware is influenced by a shield motif seen in Cameroon and Nigeria and the color palette is inspired by New Orleans. With our music, architecture, food, and traditions, we are naturally instilled with such joy. Sharing that message with a national audience is a dream achievement.
