T he Grill Room, located inside the Windsor Court Hotel, is an illustrious respite from the bustling French Quarter and its nonstop revelry. The elegant yet comfortable restaurant, helmed by Executive Chef Igor Krichmar, offers a creative take on American cuisine with plenty of inspiration from New Orleans, while pulling back to its roots of what an English fine dining experience can be. "I am inspired by fine dining in modern American cuisine. We can do shrimp and grits, gumbo, and crawfish étouffée all day long and there are so many restaurants that do it amazingly well! But thinking outside of the box is what constantly inspires me." Chef Igor arrived at the Windsor Court last Fall equipped with significant experience from his years at esteemed hotels in Yountville, Los Angeles, Park City, and New York.
