I 've never been so happy to see a change of season in my life. Getting to the end of Summer felt like quite an accomplishment and I'm embracing Fall with great gusto. I'm not saying we have to quickly bundle up, but with the worst of the heat index behind us, we can enjoy more time outdoors — a collective mood lift for sure. In this issue, we're spotlighting Fall fashion and lots of ideas for sprucing up your home and celebrating Halloween. October is the best month for neighborhood walks and time in the parks, so check out our stylish array of sneakers and hit the happy trails. I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent with CeCe Colhoun who was photographed by the talented Chris Granger for this month's cover. She welcomed us into her home like old friends and soon I was walking around in my bare feet enjoying all of her family stories about the history of her art collection (things inherited from both her and her husband's families) and hanging out on her bedroom balcony admiring the magnificent park. Thank you CeCe for such a fun afternoon. It was the best way to welcome in the new season.
