Just one block off of Jackson Square, Sylvain is tucked down a narrow side alley in what was once a carriage house built in the 1700s. Indoors, the bar scene bustles and the charming dining room is always filled. But in their courtyard, distinctive architecture, gaslit lanterns, and banana and sweet olive trees create a perfect spot for lingering over drinks and Southern classic dishes with an elevated spin. French fries and Taittinger champagne is a regular on the menu and it can't get more authentically New Orleans than this intimate Quarter setting.
