love color which is evident in the lively Elemore Morgan landscapes that fit snugly above the dining room transom, the luscious glazed walls and stunning marble floors in the powder room, and the beautiful Bradley Sabin ceramic art installation commissioned for the stairway. Stronger color and hardworking upholstery show up in the family den. Anchored by a rug bought during a family trip to Istanbul, a seriously cozy Italian sectional in linen velvet, white cowhide side chairs, and deep cushy club chairs in Holly Hunt Etoile velvet can seat the whole family and then some. More dramatic art fills the space – a large painting by Mike Williams and a stack of works by Dana Ruth Harvey – acquired from Cole Pratt Gallery on Magazine Street. "What we love about our home," says Susu, "is that it is filled with things we personally select. Andrew loves landscapes and I adore color and unique details; the house is definitely us!"

Three thousand pieces of crumpled 24 karat gold sheets are placed in the table one by one before it is sealed; Susu was even invited to place some of the pieces herself. "Andrew had long admired the iconic tables, so I surprised him with one for our anniversary," Susu explained. "We love it! It's so glamorous yet totally easy to maintain." A persimmon pallette with layers of apricot and muted corals continues in the art and antiques-filled dining room. Hanging above the French buffet de corps are two oil on paper works by Andrew Bucci dated from the 1950s; sitting on the dining table are a pair of candlesticks by ceramic sculptor Bradley Sabin and atop the bronze sconces are two additional Bucci abstracts – all tied together by an envelope of warm silk wallpaper.
