Football coaches COACH J.R. REVERE has been coaching quarterbacks at EastCoweta for nine years following a two year coaching stint at LaGrangeCollege. Coach Revere graduated from LaGrangeHigh Schoolwhere he played quarterback for former East Coweta Head Coach, Steve Pardue. He went on to become a letterwinner in baseball and football atGeorgia SouthernUniversity, and as the starting quarterback, led the football team to the 2000 Division 1AA National Championship under currentGeorgia TechHeadCoach, Paul Johnson. He earned at Bachelor of Science degree in SportManagement with a minor in Business Administration from GSU. After college,Coach Revere played both arena league football andminor league baseball. He also received aMaster ofArts degree in Teaching from LaGrangeCollege. Coach Revere and hiswifeDawn have three children, Lana,Hank, andNate. Assistant 9thGradeCoach

COACH TEAL graduated from Sandy Creek High School, where he met his future wife, Ashley McKinney Teal. Coach Teal attended Emory University, where he earned his Bachelor's in Educationand hisMasterofArts in Teaching. Recently he earned hisSpecialist degree in Teacher Leadership from LaGrangeCollege. ThiswillbeCoach Teal's fifth year coaching football,and his second yearwithEastCoweta's 9th grade football team.Coach Teal has a beautiful,wonderfulwife namedAshley and two awesome sons, Jackson andDaniel Paul.

COACH BENAVIDEZ is entering his fourth season at East Coweta High School as the FreshmenAssistant FootballCoach. Coach Benavidez is also theHeadCoach for the Boys Track& Field;which he had an outstanding yearwith bringing home a 7A StateChampion and (5) State Placers. CoachBenavidez hails from Portland Texaswhere hegraduated fromGregory-PortlandHigh School in 1986. He had the honor to be coached by Ray Akins a Texas Hall Fame High SchoolCoachwho is theGrandfather ofDrew Breeze. After graduation,Coach Benavidez enlisted in theUnited StatesAir Force andwas later commissioned and served honorably for twenty-three years. Coach Benavidez college alma mater is Texas State University, SanMarcos Texas through R.O.T.C. and holds a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Education, Masters in Special Education through the University of Texas Pan-American and also holds a Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership through LaGrangeCollege. He currently servesasaSpecialEducation teacher at East Coweta High School. Coached Benavidez has three children, Alexis (27), Lucas (14) and Julia (10).
