lobal security is huge, especially since 9/11. It’s priority #1 publicly and big business privately. Man-made disasters top the list of America’s biggest fears. Yet, for all the protection taking place at home and around the world that you see, even more takes place daily that you don’t see. And much of it is being provided by angels. They appear throughout Scripture, from Genesis through Revelation. “There are 108 places in the Old Testament where angels are mentioned and 165 places in the New Testament.” 1 Like people, angels are created beings. They speak and express emotion. Unlike people, they don’t age. Being neither male nor female, they have no ability to reproduce. Also, they “Have the ability to change their appearance and shuttle in a flash from the capital glory of heaven to earth and back again.” 2 As we explore this topic of angels, let’s begin by addressing the question, “What does the Bible say about them?
