Favorite place to take out-of-town guests? Angelo Brocato's
Favorite local brewery? Wetlands Sake – I'm not a beer drinker, but it was nice to discover this new sake taproom. Favorite place in the city that tourists don' t know about? Urban Roots Nursery – They have farm animals, a tortoise, a wide variety of plants, yard art, home décor, and just recently, they added a coffee bar and small yard space for dogs. Favorite French Quarter restaurant? GW Fins – Their food is fresh, always perfectly cooked, and never too heavy. They are very conscientious of the food they source and you can tell with each bite. Do not miss the Salty Malty Pie for dessert!
