Favorite neighborhood restaurant? Le Chat Noir – I'm obsessed with the Butter Leaf Lettuce salad with caviar and the anchovies.
Favorite museum? The National WWII Museum – I learned so much about the war that I never knew.
Favorite clothing store? Century Girl Vintage
Favorite upscale restaurant? San Lorenzo at the Hotel Saint Vincent – The menu is amazing and the setting is gorgeous. Every room is designed with beautiful details and atmosphere. PRO TIP: Order the oysters!

If a dive is what you're looking for, New Orleans has plenty to choose from. Uptown, you'll find SNAKE AND JAKE'S CHRISTMAS CLUB LOUNGE (complete with retro holiday décor), MISS MAE'S which is open 24 hours, and MAYFAIR LOUNGE, the perfect place to start or end your evening. R BAR & ROYAL STREET INN, located in the Marigny, is laid back with great hospitality. Over in the Warehouse District, enjoy a Disco Lemonade at the RUSTY NAIL, then swing over to its sister spot, SIDECAR, for oysters and other snacks.
For a swankier setting, try BAR MARILOU for intriguing drinks in their exquisitely designed salon or BOULIGNY TAVERN for a nightcap in their cozy courtyard. CURE, a James Beard Award winner, features a rotating menu of innovative cocktails in their moody Freret Street bar. If you can't score a reservation to SAINT GERMAIN, stop by their French wine bar for a glass and unexpected bar snacks.
N ew Orleans is often credited as the birthplace of cocktails. Be sure to try one of these fan favorites while in the French Quarter: Monsoon at PORT OF CALL, Frozen Irish Coffee at ERIN ROSE, and a Rum Barrel from BEACHBUM BERRY'S LATITUDE 29.
For the best view of the city skyline, visit HOT TIN at THE PONTCHARTRAIN HOTEL. The rooftop bar offers both indoor and outdoor seating, craft cocktails, and 1940s artist-inspired décor.
