Spoils for the victor have been common throughout history, yet nothing can compare to what’s going to happen at this stage in the EndTimes. As I write these words, the United States is experiencing a time of low unemployment and a healthily growing economy. Sadly, large numbers of poor and disadvantaged are missing out on the good fortune. Most mired in poverty have little chance of breaking free from the bondage. Such will not be case in the midst of millennial economic prosperity. God will accomplish what no government entitlement program or non-profit agen- cy could ever do, provide all the necessities of life. An increase in population - Although death tolls from tribulation warfare will be staggering, the population will begin to increase under divine rule, with the greatest benefactor being Jerusalem.When the exile ended in the early 520s BC, only 50,000 Jews made the move from comfortable Babylon to crushed Jerusalem. Decades later, Nehemiah struggled to get people to come there and live. However, that will certainly not be the case during the millennium because God’s people will flock into the newly raised city.
