Fueling such prominence will be an unprecedented re- gathering. We saw traces of this emerge in the late 1800s behind the impetus of Theodor Herzl, Zionist leader and “spiritual father of the Jewish state.”The movement gained considerable steam when Israel gained nation status in 1948.Yet, the above pales in comparison to the return that’s coming in the Millen- nium. As the Bible confirms, “When I bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, then I shall be sanctified through them in the sight of many nations” (Ezekiel 39:27). Such a regathering may seem impossible under present conditions, yet Israel’s future increase in land mass and agricul- tural bounty will allow for the growth. Not only will God’s promises be fulfilled specifically to the Jews, but generally to all believers . A very fascinating prophecy, one which concerns all nations, involves a celebration, the keeping of the Feast of Tabernacles.This annual observance,one of seven feasts included in Leviticus 23, commemorated the nation’s wilderness wanderings, as well as God’s bounty during harvest (Leviticus 23:40). It’s the only feast that will be observed during the Millennium (Zechariah 14:16-19), since the other six will have been fulfilled by this time.The death of Jesus fulfilled Passover (1 Corinthians 5:7) and His resurrection the Firstfruits (1 Corinthians 15:23).The Feast of Unleavened Bread is currently being completed through the church as Christians seek to carry out holy lives (1 Corinthians 5:6-8). Pentecost was brought to fruition with the coming of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:2), while the Feast of Trumpets will be fulfilled prior to the beginning of the Christ’s millennial reign, when God again gathers His people from the ends of the earth (Isaiah 18:3, Matthew 24:31).When the Jews one day recog- nize and receive Jesus as Messiah, the Day of Atonement will be
