t this point in the book, you might be thinking, “All this information regarding the future is very intrigu- ing and inspirational.Yet, Lord willing, I’ve got several years to live on this fallen planet. This means work to do, bills to pay, tasks to perform, events to attend, responsibilities to meet, and places to go. I can’t be so heavenly minded that I’m no earthly good.” With that in mind, I’ve chosen to conclude with another parable from Jesus, one which He delivered just prior to mak- ing His triumphal entry into Jerusalem (Luke 19:11-27). Be- cause His days on earth were numbered, Jesus took this oppor- tunity to inform His followers of their responsibility thereafter. And even though “They supposed that the kingdom of God was going
