earthly king, but many crowns.This is a clear indication that as “Lord of lord and King of kings” (Revelation 17:14), a ruler like no other is about to reign on earth. Since the fall, Satan has been the “prince of the power of the air” (Ephesians 2:2) in this enemy occupied territory in which we live.Thankfully, Christ’s com- ing will usher in a new administration. Fire will be present – not only in Him but around Himas well. The fire within will be seen in Jesus’ eyes (Revela-tion 19:12), an indication that nothing can be hidden from hisall- encompassing gaze.The fire around him (2 Thessalonians 1:7) symbolizes the judgment, purity and presence of God.The cloud that guided the Jews by day became fire at night (Exodus 13:22). Fire, which burned perpetually on the temple altar, accompanied the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost (Levit- icus 6:13,Acts 2:3). A worldwide announcement will be made – Hardly anyone, with the exception of family and a few shepherds, werearound when Jesus came so silently and humbly the first time. His return, however, will be quite the opposite, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God” (1 Thessalonians 4:16). An entourage will join Jesus – Christ will not return alone, but with the saints that have died and gone to heaven (1 Thessalonians 3:13). It is at that point that believers returning in spirit will receive their glorified bodies. As Scripture says, “I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable (1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 1Thessalonians 4:16). And not only will the dead be raised to receive their glo- rified bodies, those alive at the time will be “Caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air,” taking on their
