Sake Sake, like sushi, is central to the culture of Japan. No other drink, besides green tea, is as closely associated with the country. Ready to sip? Sake is typically served in a tall bottle called a tokkuri and drunk from a sakazuki, a small porcelain cup. Although in America we usually drink sake warm or hot, certain sakes are served cold.

More than 100 professional sushi chefs work inside our markets around the Gulf Coast. Our sushi chef Dan Nawang handcrafted the sushi you see on these pages.
