COACH SNEDDON ENTERS HIS 5TH SEASON AS THE SPARTANS HEAD COACH. HE HAS COMPILED A 79 – 31 RECORD IN HIS FIRST FOUR SEASONS AT SOUTH AND NOTCHED HIS 200TH CAREER WIN IN 2021. THIRTEEN SPARTANS HAVE GONE ON TO PLAY COLLEGIATELY DURING COACH SNEDDON–S TENURE AT SOUTH. COACH SNEDDON HAS PREVIOUSLY SERVED AS THE HEAD COACH AT MT. PARAN, MT. ZION, AND VILLA RICA PRIOR TO COMING TO SOUTH PAULDING. HE IS A GRADUATE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF WEST GEORGIA, AND HAS A MASTER–S DEGREE IN COACHING AND ATHLETIC ADMINISTRATION. COACH SNEDDON HAS BEEN AWARDED THE GHSA ALL-REGION COACH OF THE YEAR AND RECOGNIZED BY THE TIMES-GEORGIAN AS THE ALL-AREA COACH OF THE YEAR. COACH SNEDDON HAS SERVED AS THE DIRECTOR OF THE JOHN SMOLTZ BASEBALL CAMP AND HAS MENTORED MANY COLLEGIATE AND PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL PLAYERS. COACH SNEDDON HAS 2 DAUGHTERS: JORDAN (19) AND ALANA (11).

COACH ADAIR ENTERS HIS 4TH SEASON WITH THE SPARTANS. HE SERVES AS THE PITCHING COACH AND FIRST BASE COACH. COACH ADAIR WAS RECOGNIZED BY THE GEORGIA DUGOUT CLUB AS THE ASSISTANT COACH OF THE YEAR IN 2018.

COACH WELAK WILL HAVE COACHED HIS 4TH YEAR FOR THE SPARTANS THIS SEASON. HE COMES TO US AFTER COACHING 12 YEARS IN PENNSYLVANIA AND 2 YEARS AT TEMPLE HIGH SCHOOL. COACH WELAK IS OUR FIRST EVER STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH. HE SERVES AS OUR OUTFIELD INSTRUCTOR AND COACH FOR THE JUNIOR VARSITY TEAM.

HE LIVES WITH HIS WIFE ALISA AND THEIR TWO DAUGHTERS, BRYNLEE AND ADALEE.

ASSISTANT COACH SCOOTER HOUSTON

IN HEALTH AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION, AND ALSO OF JACKSONVILLE STATE UNIVERSITY, WHERE HE EARNED HIS MASTER–S DEGREE IN HUMAN PERFORMANCE. COACH GRAHAM LIVES WITH HIS WIFE MELISSA AND THEIR THREE CHILDREN, JOANNA (10), CLAYTON (7), AND WADE (5).

ASSISTANT COACH ADAM GRAHAM

COACH BROWN IS ENTERING HIS 3RD YEAR COACHING THE SOUTH PAULDING FEEDER TEAMS, BOTH 6/7 AND 8TH GRADE. COACH BROWN HAS BEEN A PART OF THE SOUTH PAULDING PROGRAM FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS, NOT ONLY AS A PROUD SPARTAN PARENT BUT ALSO HEAVILY INVOLVED WITH THE BOOSTER PROGRAM. HE AND HIS WIFE SHANNON LIVE IN POWDER SPRINGS WITH THEIR DAUGHTER HANNAH AND SON MITCH.

COACH LAMAR IS IN HIS FIRST YEAR OF COACH AT SOUTH PAULDING. HE SERVES AS A HITTING & OUTFIELD COACH FOR THE JUNIOR SPARTANS. COACH LAMAR PLAYED FOUR YEARS AT SOUTH PAULDING BEFORE GOING ON TO PLAY AT LAWSON STATE.

ASSISTANT COACH LUKE LAMAR

COACH LOCKRIDGE IS IN FIRST YEAR OF COACHING AT SOUTH PAULDING. HE SERVES AS THE PITCHING COACH FOR THE FEEDER PROGRAM. FROM 2014-2018, COACH LOCKRIDGE PLAYED FOR SOUTH PAULDING. COACH LOCKRIDGE GRADUATED FROM KENNESAW STATE UNIVERSITY WITH A DEGREE IN COMMUNICATIONS.

COACH BRUMBELOW IS IN HIS FIRST YEAR AS A COACH WITH SOUTH PAULDING. COACH BRUMBE LOW HAS BEEN A COACH FOR BOTH BASEBALL AND WRESTLING FOR SEVERAL YEARS THROUGH OUT THE COUNTY. HE IS A GRADUATE FROM KENNESAW UNIVERSITY, AN EDUCATOR WITH PCSD AND CURRENTLY LIVES IN PAULDING COUNTY WITH HIS WIFE DAE AND THEIR TWO CHILDREN JOEBY AND BRINLEY.

COACH SAULS WAS BORN AND RAISED IN VILLA RICA, GA. AND GRADUATED FROM VILLA RICA HIGH SCHOOL WITH THE CLASS OF 2010. COACH SAULS WAS A 4-YEAR VARSITY LETTERMAN IN BASEBALL AND FOOTBALL, AND A 2-YEAR VARSITY LETTERMAN IN WRESTLING. COACH SAULS PLAYED BASEBALL AT MARS HILL COLLEGE IN WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA AND COMPLETED HIS BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN SOCIOLOGY FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF WEST GEORGIA. COACH SAULS IS CURRENTLY IN HIS 3RD YEAR TEACHING, SPENDING HIS FIRST TWO YEARS AT VILLA RICA MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHING GA HISTORY AND WORLD HISTORY, AND CURRENTLY TEACHING U.S. HISTORY AT SOUTH. COACH SAULS SERVES AS THE RUNNING BACKS COACH FOR THE FOOTBALL TEAM, AND THE HEAD FRESHMAN COACH FOR THE BASEBALL TEAM.

We were the happiest of parents when you, your sister and brother were born. Gifts of love sent by GOD with a pre-determined notion that Mom and I knew what we should do from the days you were all delivered. I can recall how nervous we were as young adults, and then delivered on the 13th of February we assumed you and us would be doomed from the start. With Alaura and Hudson, you have turned out to be the polar opposite! You all have completed our family and are just what Mom and I needed. You have ourished in everything you have ever set your heart in doing. From schoolwork, to baseball, to the lives of the people and friends who you have touched nothing was ever too di cult and no one was ever an afterthought. Your smile illuminates a ball room, and your kind heart brings warmth in the darkest of times. We are extremely proud of ALL your accomplishments, and we are here to cheer on the ones to come. As a parent at birth, we couldn’t wait to give you all a home, comfort and a meaning of life. Watching you all grow into the young adults, you have in turn given us the meaning of life, comfort and gave us the meaning of life. We are forever grateful for what GOD has delivered us and how he holds his hands on you.
