Paul penned, “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). These are just a few of over 3000 promises in the Bible. For example, Jesus said, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-lad en, and I will give you rest.Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS” (Matthew 11:28,29). The Lord assured the exiled Jews, “For I know the plans I have for you . . . plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).To the fearful, Solomon records, “Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him” (Proverbs 30:5).
