Hello Wildcat Family!! A hearty Wildcat welcome to the campus

of Villa Rica High School and Sam McIntyre Stadium. We are excited to have you here to support our amazing Wildcat students. Friday nights under the lights are special because it is a time to bring the entire community together to support our Wildcats. A time to cheer, sing the fight song, rally around the Cats down on the field and share our enthusiasm for all of our VR community.

Also, these autumn nights are one of the many learning opportunities we, at VR, provide for our students as they grow into the responsibilities of adulthood, develop resilience and integrity and learn that tenacity with grace will help them realize their dreams. At VRHS, we strive to provide a premier high school experience for all of our students. We want them to excel in whatever endeavors they choose, from academics, to fine arts, to athletics. Tonight we get to watch our team, our band, and our cheerleaders, wearing the purple and gold, representing our school with pride and enthusiasm. We applaud and appreciate the hard work that these students, their coaches, sponsors and directors, have dedicated to be ready for tonight. I know they are focused to give their best for old VR! Villa Rica High School could not flourish without the support of the Carroll County Board of Education and the leadership of Superintendent Scott Cowart. VRHS is very appreciative of the opportunities our school district offers so we can elevate all our students. As we prepare for kickoff, I thank you for joining us tonight and I hope you enjoy the VR experience. Football Friday nights are special, especially when you are a VR Wildcat!! Go Cats!!
