DYJ HITTING ROUTINE B The setup for this doesn't require a defense although I recommend using at least a Catcher and MIF for green light groups work. Offensively you need groups of 4-5.I have added in another hitting routine in order to show the "reward" they get if they execute a minimum of 75% between the groups. If they do not achieve 75% (3 out of 4 or 4 out of 5) their hitting round is over.. Every hitter has a job and every base runner has a job. If the hitter or runner fails to do their job they have to have some sort of negative consequence (Hitter, their first round of BP is over) (Runner, Pushups, touch the pole, lose a point). The baserunners are focusing on 1 hard quality rep per round. I firmly believe in quality reps over conditioning when baserunning. The DYJ is a 1 rep execution game scenario. If they do their job there is no negative consequence and they will get back in line for the next round. Feel free to adjust situations, counts, outs, reps, or focus for your program style.
