Coach Pecos Galamore - Head Coach Shane “Pecos” Galamore, of Pinson, AL is the first and only Head Baseball Coach at South Paulding High School. He has been coaching baseball as well as many other sports for the past 19 years. He has also served as the Boys and Girls Cross Country Head Coach and assisted with the softball and girls basketball in past years at South. Coach Galamore is the lead ISS instructor and also facilitates the K12 program, which is a credit recovery program. Prior to this experience, he spent 4 years as an assistant coach at Alexander High School in Douglas County, GA.

Prior to his Alexander experience Coach Galamore spent 7 years as a junior high, high school, and college coach at the following Alabama schools: · Birmingham-Southern College (baseball graduate assistant) · Hewitt-Trussville High School (head 7th grade football and basketball, and head 8th grade baseball) · Homewood High School (head 7th grade football and junior high track) · Mountain Brook High School (head 7th grade football, varsity girl’s basketball assistant and head JV, and varsity baseball assistant and head 8th and 9th grade baseball) Education: · 2000 University of Alabama at Birmingham - Birmingham, Al. (Master’s in Education) · 1997 Birmingham-Southern College - Birmingham, Al. (Elementary Education/Educational Psychology Degree) · 2008 Summer - Team USA Coach - Coach Galamore was part of the Task Force which assisted in the development and team assembly with the 18U National Team. The event was held in Cary, NC during the month of June. They went on to win the silver medal in Canada, Korea, Gold) · 2008 September - Helped coach the Top Southeast Prospect - held at East Cobb and put on by Perfect Game · 2009 Region 7-AAAA Coach of the Year · 2010 All-State Senior Baseball Coach · 2011 Region 5-AAAA Coach of the Year · 2010-2012 Under Armour Team One evaluator – staff member that selects the Under Armour All American East Squad St Louis Cardinals scout - beginning Summer 2012 Personal: He and his wife, Vicki, have been married for 13 years and have five children and 2 grandchildren, Ashtin 24 (Kaylee 5 and Aubree 3), Matthew 16, Grey 11, Emalee Rain (January 20-August 31) and Annabella Lee “Little Girl” 7 years old. They reside in Dallas, GA. His hobbies include any sporting event, fishing and Alabama Football- ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!! Varsity Coaches

Coach Sneddon Coach Sneddon has been coaching high school baseball for 20 years in the West Georgia area; including head coaching stints at Mt. Paran, Mt. Zion, and Villa Rica. He is a graduate of the University of West Georgia, and has a Master’s degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration. He has been named a Georgia High School All-Region coach of the year, and the Times-Georgian All-Area coach of the year. In addition to baseball, he has also coached high school football, and basketball, as well as serving as a middle school athletic director. Coach Sneddon has also served as the director of the John Smoltz baseball camp, as has mentored many former, and current collegiate and professional baseball players. Coach Sneddon has 2 daughters; Jordan and Alana.

Coach Cochran Coach Cochran begins his first season with the Spartans for the 2015/2016 school year. Coach Cochran has an extensive baseball history and has experience playing in high school, college and with the U.S. Air Force travel team. Coach Cochran graduated from Midwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He currently teachesWorld History and Economics at South Paulding High School. He has beenmarried to his wife for 33 years and has 4 children.

Coach Griggs Coach Cody Griggs Is 22 years old, from Douglasville, GA and graduated from Alexander High School in 2011. He played varsity football and baseball for 4 years at AHS. Coach Griggs was selected for the 2010 Under Armour All American West baseball team and played in Phoenix, AZ. He was named All County Baseball in 2010 and 2011. Coach Griggs caught for the state champion American Legion Post 145 team in 2011. Coach Griggs attended Shorter University in 2011-2012 and played baseball for the Shorter Hawks. He coached the Alexander High Cougar freshman baseball team fall 2012 and summer 2013. Coach Griggs enjoys golf, working out and Florida State football. GO NOLES!! He is excited to be a part of South Paulding’s athletic program and is looking forward to a great season.

Coach Sellers I am originally from Paulding County, Ga where most of my family resides. I Graduated from South Paulding High School in 2010.While in high school, I played basketball, football, baseball, and ran track. After high school, I pursued my athletic career at Shorter University in Rome, Ga on a football scholarship and joined the baseball team for their Fall season. Sports has had a major impact on my life. Sports teaches young men and women a lot about life. It can humble you, teaches you work ethic, and also how to work well with others in a team setting. I have built many relationships through sports and I am very fortunate that Coach Galamore has given me an opportunity to learn and be apart of his staff. I look forward to having much success with the South Paulding Baseball club! Hobbies include fishing, summer sporting events, exercising, visiting my best friends of Cedar Bluff, Ala and spending time with my family any chance I can! I adore my Mom and Grandmother! I have a twin brother Brock who played football at Savannah State for three years until suffering a shoulder injury, and a younger sister Victoria. Grandfather Sammy McClure and my uncles Reggie and Sammy McClure are the biggest influences in my life. Uncle (Lloyd Turner) is a hitting coach for the Beloit Snappers in the Oakland A’s system. He spent 7 years in the minors and reached AAA. We talk a lot of baseball occasionally 2-3 times a week. I love learning more about the greatest game there is! GO SPARTANS!!

Coach Neal Coach Neal begins his first season with the Spartans and his 7th year coaching overall. Coach Neal graduated from Kennesaw State University in December of 2014 with a health and physical education degree, as well as a coaching minor. Prior to South Paulding, Coach Neal spent four years coaching in the middle school program and freshmen levels at Harrison High School. Coach Neal also coached the Atlanta Defenders in the National Public Safety Football League for five seasons as a wide receivers coach, as well as defensive coordinator. While with the NPSFL, he won two National Championships in 2010 and 2012. Last year, Coach Neal student taught and coached football at Kennesaw Mountain High School, where he was the varsity wide receivers coach for football. Coach Neal also played quarterback at LaGrange College in 2007.
