Coach Gardner, played Varsity football at EPHS for 3 years also was a two time all region guard. Started coaching Freshman Offensive line at EPHS in 2022 after my senior year. This year I continue with Freshman, and started a new position group, Fullbacks and Tight-Ends for Varsity team. Excited for the new season and what’s to come!

Caleb Hale is a 2nd Year Coach. Previous Year Defensive Line Coach at Dooly County High School. He is new to the Raiders this year.

Coach Van Spence is starting his 22nd year teaching/coaching, and his 1st year at East Paulding High School. Coach Spence will be coaching QBs and serving as Co-Offensive Coordinator. Coach Spence spent his first 14 years at McEachern HS and served as Head coach at Paulding County the last 6 years. Over his career with QBs Coach Spence has helped 9 QBs to play at the college level. As the offensive coordinator at McEachern the Indians reached the GHSA semi-finals in 2013 and 2014. In 2017, Spence led rival PCHS to a playoff berth. Coach Spence and his wife Mandy have three children; Bode (13), Brady (11), and Emily-Kate (8). They are his pride and joy! He and his family are excited to be a part of the East community. They are all ready to FIRE THE CANNON regularly!
