Coach Bryan Jacobson will enter his tenth season coaching HS football in Georgia with this being his first year at East Paulding HS. Previous coaching stops include McEachern HS and Paulding along with experience at North Cobb Christian MS (2011) and North Paulding MS (2012) where he served as a defensive coordinator. Prior to that he was Defensive Coordinator at the Acworth Youth program also working with 6th graders. In 2010, his teamwas unde feated and advanced to the Youth Super Bowl. Using a great deal of innovation, Coach Jacobson has always added new dimensions to programs through recruit ing and filming technology to help programs advance players to the next level. With Coach Jacobson’s enthusiastic participation, many McEachern and Paulding football players have found collegiate opportunities thanks to his tireless effort. Between stops at McEachern and Paulding County, he has assisted in placing 126 players into the college ranks. A huge passion of his is assisting his players with finding every opportunity possible to play at the next level and get their education paid for. Bryan attended high school locally at Duluth High here in Georgia. He participated in football, basketball and tennis and received letters in 2 sports. In his senior year he received the Gatorade Academic Player of the Year Award for Duluth H.S. He attended Kennesaw State where he received his bachelor’s degree in Professional Sales, his masters at the University of West Georgia in Business Education, and currently is pursuing his Specialist in Instructional Design and Technology. In addition to his coaching duties for football, he is the Head Boys Tennis Coach and will be teaching marketing and business technology at East Paulding HS. He has been married for eleven years to his wife Leigh Anne and have two boys Kellen (4) and Aiden (2). In any of his spare time he can be found Cross Fitting, playing tennis or traveling with his family. Coach Jaaran Nesbitt is entering his first season coaching with the East Paulding Raiders but his 18th overall. Prior to his current role, Coach Nesbitt spent this past season with the Walton Raiders coaching wide receivers alongside Coach Hirshfield. In addition to coaching at Walton, he spent 2 seasons as the wide-receivers coach at Wheeler High school, and the rest of his coaching career (2003-2018) at Marietta High School in various roles in cluding: varsity QB/Running backs/Defensive backs coach; head coaching roles on freshman and MSGA sixth grade levels directing and developing the youth of the Blue Devil program. Coach Nesbitt was born in Miami, FL where he was recognized for being a standout athlete/quarterback for Ameri can Sr High earning All-Dade County region 1st team honors. Before entering the teaching and coaching profession, Coach Nesbitt earned a scholarship to Carson-Newman University where he was a two-sport athlete lettering in both basketball and football. As a two-year starter and three-year letterman playing quarterback, he led his team to 2 Southern Atlantic Conference titles, 1 NCAA Division II Championship game appearance and was a 3x Aca demic All-Conference student-athlete. Coach Nesbitt graduated with a BS degree in Special Education and a BA in Psychology and went on to compete in training camps with the Toronto Argonauts. In 2003, he moved to Marietta to begin his teaching and coaching career. Whether teaching subjects of Science, Math, or now Physical Education, he prides himself on bringing the same passion and enthusiasm into the classroom as he does when coaching. Coach Nesbitt resides in Smyrna with his beautiful eight-year-old daughter Jaliyah.
