A fter a four-year long engagement, Daneka Dasher and Patrick Moore Jr. decided to scrap their plans for a traditional wedding with family and friends and elope under the oaks instead. "We thought what better way than to run off to our favorite place and recreate our very first date," says Daneka. Accompanied by just their photographer and officiant, the HR specialist and stock analyst professed their love for one another in full wedding attire at the Audubon Park Hyams Fountain Gardens on November 8, 2020. The bride styled her hair and got ready by herself, a far cry from the experience she had once imagined. "I've always wanted that picture perfect moment of getting dressed with my mother and sipping champagne with my childhood friends. However, the blissful feeling of being in the moment made me realize I didn't miss those moments at all thanks to our lovely officiant."
