The couple hired Ann Glaviano, a local DJ, to take guests back in time with her set of vinyl records from 1957-1974. "The guests loved it, and I think it was refreshing to not hear Bruno Mars at a wedding." The wedding took place on October 30 and was officiated by Ranna Zahra McSwain of Let's Elope New Orleans. "Ranna wrote a ceremony that was tailored to us and just honestly beautiful. It was a modern take on what a marriage should be: a partnership founded in love." Anna walked down the aisle with her parents, and the couple exchanged bands that were made by the groom's uncle, Bailey's Jewelers in Bossier City. The reception followed with the front porch turning into a dance floor which some costumed crashers took as an open invitation. "It felt like we were outside partying along with everyone else on Halloween eve…it was hilarious and one of the moments that made me so happy to have our wedding in New Orleans." After dancing the night away, the couple rode off into marriage on decorated bikes.
