FROM THE EDITOR

I 'm a magazine junkie from way back with stacks of interesting paint colors, flowers, and tabletop ideas torn from my favorite publications. I never tire of eye candy photography and design inspiration. And I keep a running list of restaurants to try and endless things to do. So when Sara Barnard, Adore 's publisher, asked if I wanted to contribute to a new magazine that The New Orleans Advocate was launching, I was all in. Here we are five years later. Our talented graphic designer and team of photographers, writers, and content producers are just as passionate as we were on the very first issue. It is so exciting to bring the unique talent, style, and creativity, so much a part of our city, to the forefront, and we know we've only scratched the surface. We are so grateful for the financial support that our advertisers provide and the subscribers and readers (a.k.a shoppers and diners) that cheer us all on as they frequent the best of local restaurants, shops, museums, and galleries. Here's to the next five!
