New Orleans inspires me to always look a little bit deeper. It's easy to just write about what's on the surface but that's not really where the goods are. This city has a way of bringing me just a little bit closer to the artist inside, reminding me of the wonder in life by shining different shades of light on the simple things. Describe what you see as our future. I see New Orleans as one of the great beacons of hope for the south in terms of creativity, the arts, humanity, and open-mindedness. It's truly an extraordinary place filled with people from all walks of life, loving, and thriving in devoted harmony. I'd like to see New Orleans remain just as rooted in its deep traditions and culture while also committing to becoming more and more progressive. After all, it's pretty radical to maintain these roots.
