New Orleans has been at the forefront of the culinary and hospitality industry for so much of its rich history, so it is particularly meaningful for this city to have a world-class culinary school. What about New Orleans inspires you? Creative and entrepreneurial energy. Between the creative community and the entrepreneurial ecosystem here, New Orleans represents nirvana for "creators" of all kinds in a culturally rich environment. Describe your vision for our future. My dream is that we will evolve from being a major tourist destination to becoming a global thought leader in the food and hospitality industry. Imagine a future where we are the epicenter for research and scholarship and an incubator of major innovations. What would people be surprised to know about you?
