When all the jars were full, the woman asked her son for an other. “But he replied,‘There is not a jar left.’Then the oil stopped flowing” (2 Kings 4:6). Does this mean the oil flow would have continued as long as the jars kept coming? Absolutely! If not before, she under stood then why Elisha sent her after a bunch of jars. Limitation stems from our limited capacity to receive as opposed to the Lord’s unlimited ability to give. Speaking of His de sire to bless Israel, God says, “Open your mouth wide and I will fill it”
