What is the most eccentric thing you love about New Orleans? I'm from here…it all seems normal to me! What is your favorite neighborhood? Whichever one I'm currently in. There's something unique and beautiful about every neighborhood. Favorite time of year in New Orleans? Middle of October to mid-November. Magical. Favorite place in the city that tourists don' t know about? Crescent Park – It's an escape from the city in the city. We go roller skating as a family in the evenings. Favorite New Orleans memory? Toomany to recount! I've got hundreds
of favorite memories. Where do I even start?! Maybe playing my first parade when I was nine with my dad and the Olympia Brass Band. Favorite New Orleans area to stroll? Lower Chartres between St. Ann and Esplanade.

No matter how much you know about the city, you are sure to learn something new while visiting THE HISTORIC NEW ORLEANS COLLECTION. The French Quarter institution is dedicated to the stewardship of New Orleanian history and culture. Their most recent acquisition, a well-known Jules Lion portrait popularly known as Asher Moses Nathan and Son , is now on view in the museum's free Louisiana History Galleries.
