These include, but are not limited to, statements or conduct against persons or property that is sufficiently severe, offensive, or intimidating that create a hostile, abusive, or intimidating work environment for one or more employees, or any person conducting business with the Company. The “workplace” is not limited to one particular location or site. Employees are prohibited from carrying weapons and engaging in acts of violence in the course of business on and off Company property, including business travel and entertainment, recreation, education, and training. 3. Examples of Prohibited Conduct Specific examples of conduct that may be considered "threats or acts of violence" and prohibited under this Policy include, but are not limited to, the following:  Hitting, shoving, or throwing an object at an individual  Acts of intimidation including threatening to harm an individual or their family, friends, associates, or property  The intentional destruction or threat of destruction of property owned, operated, or controlled by the Company or another employee.  Making harassing or threatening statements, telephone calls, letters or other form of written or electronic communications.  Intimidating or attempting to coerce an employee to do wrongful acts that would affect the business interests of the Company.  Stalking, willful, and malicious acts of intimidation, repeated following of another person or making a credible threat with intent to place the other person in reasonable fear of their safety  Making a suggestion or otherwise intimating that an act to injure persons or property is “appropriate.”  Possession of firearms, weapons, or any other dangerous devices at the workplace. 4. Reporting Procedure and Responsibilities If an employee witnesses any threats or acts of violence, or the presence of any weapons, the employee must immediately notify the local Human Resources representative or Supervisor. The local Human Resources Department will conduct investigations with the assistance of local law enforcement as appropriate. Employees who are suspected of engaging in threats or acts of violence in violation of this Policy may be suspended without pay until any investigations are complete. 5. Violations Violation of this Policy will lead to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal, arrest, and prosecution. Additionally, lockers, parking lots, and vehicles on Company premises and for business use are also considered an employee’s workplace for purposes of this Policy.
