Poetry Break Booklet

SPECIAL EVENTS:

Poetry & Tea or “Poetea” (August 26, 2023): The “Poetry Break” family did a reading while participants filled the room to enjoy some hot tea and their favorite finger sandwiches, scones and pastries or fruit. The 90 minute session reading featuring poets from the local Villa Rica area and the “Poetry Group” family. Each person that read, introduced themselves and read their poetic selections (2 or 3 poems).

LITFEST (November 2, 2024): A heartfelt poetry reading by the “Poetry Break” family. Always thinking of ways to share our poetry with the world, the “Poetry Break” family took the opportunity to participate in the Villa Rica Library’s LITFEST which is a Literary Festival to read poetry during the program. During LITFEST the “Poetry Break” family volunteered to be judges for the the youth poetry contest.
