Hello Wildcat Family!! A hearty Wildcat welcome to the

campus of Villa Rica High School and Sam McIntyre Stadium. We are excited to have you here this evening to support our awesome Wildcat students. Whether they are playing on an athletic team, a member of the band, or on the cheerleading squad, we a re extremely proud of their effort and dedication to Villa Rica High! Friday nights under the lights are special because it is a time to bring the entire community together to

support our students. A time to cheer, sing the fight song, and rally around the Cats down on the field. Truly, there is nothing like a football Friday night! And, I am blessed to be serving as principal for Villa Rica High and to have this opportunity to welcome you here. For many years I have watched the passion and pride demonstrated by this incredible community. Villa Rica High is a place long on tradition, but also loaded with new opportunities. At VRHS, we strive to provide a premier high school experience for all of our students. We want them to excel in whatever endeavors they choose, from academics, to fine arts, to athletics. Tonight we get to watch our team, our band, and our cheerleaders, wearing the purple and gold, representing our school with pride and enthusiasm. The preparation of all our students is appreciated and we know they are focused to give their best for old VR. Villa Rica High School could not flourish without the support of the Carroll County Board of Education and the leadership of Superintendent Scott Cowart. VRHS is very appreciative of the opportunities our school district offers for all our students. As we prepare for kickoff, I thank you for joining us tonight and I hope you enjoy the VR experience. Football Friday nights are special, especially when you are a VR Wildcat!! Go Cats!!
